ABOUT US
TEN YEARS! We’ve been together for TEN YEARS! Over this time, we have grown so much as individuals and as a couple. We have celebrated so much over these years; graduate school graduations, career advances, births of nephews and cherished friends and families’ weddings and their children’s births. We have also unfortunately weathered some of the most tragic and devastating times. We have gone through all this together and we are absolutely thrilled to be taking the next step by FINALLY tying the knot!
About Us
A MESSAGE FROM THE COUPLE
We are beyond excited to share the news of our upcoming destination wedding, while we understand it’s a big ask, we truly hope that you’ll be able to join us in celebrating this special day. Your presence would mean the world to us, and we would love nothing more than to have you there to share in the joy.
As we begin to finalize the details, we’d like to kindly let you know that, we have decided to keep this event an adult-only affair. We know this may require adjustments for some, and we deeply appreciate your understanding and support in respecting our choice.
We have decided upon the Majestic Elegance Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Although the ceremony and reception is adult only, the resort is all inclusive and family friendly, allowing so many options and opportunities! Some may wish to have an adult-only vacation but others may wish to bring their children and other family to enjoy a family vacation!
With all that being said, we completely understand if travel or other commitments make it difficult for you to attend. Please know that we’ll feel your love and support no matter where you are!

Some people may be wondering, why a destination wedding?
Besides the obvious idyllic scenery, clear blue waters and my love of the beach, we decided upon a destination wedding as the idea of having a wedding close to home is very difficult idea for me to bear. After losing my mom, my best friend, in 2017, I can’t imagine and frankly, don’t want to, arrange a traditional wedding without my mom being present. Calling vendors, going to florist, cake and food tasting is nothing I want to do without her. Destination weddings provide the opportunity for me not to feel her absence even more and brings an ease to the planning process that I find very helpful during this time. Thank you for your understanding and support.
